When can I enroll?

The entrance periods for the Academic Course and Practical Japanese Course are four times a year (January, April, July, and October), but there are application periods for each period, so early consultation and document preparation are required.
If you wish to enroll in the Academic Course or Practical Japanese Course, you will need to prepare the necessary documents 6 to 7 months before your desired enrollment date.
Short-term courses are also offered four times a year (January, April, July, and October).
For intensive courses, we are always accepting applications if the level is appropriate, regardless of the time of year, so please contact us separately.

What do I need to enroll?

However, the content varies depending on the application conditions, so please contact us separately.
When applying for short-term or intensive courses, the necessary documents are (1) application form, (2) copy of passport, (3) copy of residence card (if you have one), and (4) three photos. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Is there an age limit?

There is no age limit, but if you are applying for the Academic Advancement Course or Practical Japanese Course, you must have graduated within five years of your most recent educational background.
However, the content will vary depending on the conditions of the applicant, so please contact us separately.

How do I apply?

For the Academic Course and Practical Japanese Course, please prepare and submit the necessary documents by the deadline set by our school.
After the school reviews the documents, it will submit them to the Immigration Bureau. For more information, please see here.

How long does it take to get a student visa application?

It takes approximately two and a half months from the time you submit your application documents to the Immigration Bureau until the "Certificate of Eligibility" is issued.
After receiving the "Certificate of Eligibility" from the Immigration Bureau, you can apply for a visa at a Japanese diplomatic mission in your home country.
The results are generally announced one month before the start of enrollment.

How many hours per day are lessons?

Classes will be four hours per day, amounting to approximately 800 hours of study per year.

Tokyo School:Morning classes: 9:15am - 12:30pm Afternoon classes: 1:30am - 4:45pm
Osaka School:Morning class: 9:20am-1:10pm Afternoon class: 1:30am-5:20pm Intensive course has 2 90 minute classes per day. Other courses vary by course.

Are there scholarships available?

There is a system in place that recommends students who have excellent attitudes toward classes, academic records, and attendance records, and after selection, they can receive scholarships.
The scholarship program is only available to international students.

How should I prepare for further education?

Guidance sessions are held at least twice a year. Students attend these sessions and discuss their goals with their guidance instructors.
Before the summer vacation, students will have detailed discussions with their homeroom teacher and college guidance counselor on choosing a school and preparing the necessary documents, and in the fall they will begin preparing the necessary documents. Homeroom teachers and other counselors will provide enthusiastic guidance on college preparation until students are accepted.

After enrollment, is there a system where I can get advice regarding continuing my studies or finding a job in Japan?

In addition to introducing the school and teaching Japanese, we also provide guidance based on each student's "life plan," including interview courses, information sessions, workshops for entering higher education run by graduates, and individual interviews for entering higher education.
We also provide employment support through our human resources departments, Human Resocia and Daijob.

Can I get a part-time job?

If you have a student visa, you can work part-time up to 28 hours a week after obtaining a "Permission to Engage in Activities Other Than Those Permitted Under the Status of Residence Permitted" from the Immigration Bureau.

How much is the monthly living cost?

Average total price: 100,000 to 150,000 yen
(Example prices: Rent including utilities 50,000-80,000 yen, food 20,000-30,000 yen, mobile phone 5,000 yen, monthly transportation 10,000 yen, other pocket money 20,000-30,000 yen)

Are there lessons every day?

Lessons are held every day, but if you cannot attend every day due to work or family commitments, you can choose to attend from two to five times a week.

Should I pay the tuition fees all at once?

Tuition fees are to be paid for one month only. If you continue to study from the second month onwards, please pay tuition fees for each month. (※Please contact us if you would like to pay in one lump sum.)

Are textbooks included in the tuition fee?

Textbook fees are not included in the tuition fee. The cost of textbooks varies depending on the class, so we will inform you of the cost at the time of enrollment. (Approximately 2,000 to 6,000 yen)

Are there classes on Saturdays?

On Saturdays, the Intensive Course classes are closed. Classes for the JLPT Preparation Course (classroom attendance) and Business Japanese Course (classroom attendance) are held. (Depending on the season) Private lessons are also available on Saturdays.
