"Japanese Language x Japanese Culture" A special experience you can only have in Fukuoka this winter!

Human Academy Japanese Language School, Fukuoka Branch will be holding a short-term intensive "Winter Program" in February 2026. In addition to learning Japanese, the program is packed with activities that will create lifelong memories, such as Japanese drumming, cooking Japanese food, and interacting with local Japanese students!

■ Program Schedule

You can choose from the following two dates to suit your schedule:

  • 1st period: February 2, 2026 (Monday) to February 14, 2026 (Saturday)

  • 2nd period: February 16, 2026 (Monday) to February 28, 2026 (Saturday)

■ Program contents (details)

It is a comprehensive curriculum that allows you to come into contact with "living Japanese" and "authentic culture."

1. Practical Japanese classes (5 days a week)

Professional Japanese language teachers will teach you not only vocabulary and grammar, but also cultivate immediately usable communication skills.

  • Target level: N5 level (beginner)

★Even those who are learning seriously for the first time can participate with confidence.

2. Japanese cultural experience activities (examples)

Get out of the classroom and experience Fukuoka culture with all your senses.

  • Japanese cooking experience: Learn how to make popular Japanese dishes.

  • Taiko drumming experience: A powerful experience that lets you feel the traditional rhythm of Japan resonate through your body.

  • Extracurricular activities: Discover the charm of the city by touring Fukuoka's tourist attractions and shopping.

3. Conversation and exchange with Japanese students

This is a valuable opportunity to speak directly with local Japanese students. It's a chance to talk about trends and culture in real Japanese with young people your age and make friends.

① Game production experience (90 minutes) Experience how programming works!
Participants will rewrite the code of the popular software "Watermelon Game" and enjoy changing the game. There will also be time to play games created by current students and interact with students.


② Dubbing experience (90 minutes) Voice an anime character!
After practicing your voice and emotional expression, you will try dubbing a scene from an anime or a short line. Even if you are not confident in your Japanese, you can feel at ease with this experience with short phrases.


③ Manga/illustration production experience (90 minutes) Try your hand at professional techniques!

  • Manga: The instructor's draft will be inked using professional pen and ink.
  • Illustration: You will experience the process of "coloring" the prepared line drawing.
