This course not only explains how to use the "Tsunagu Nihongo" textbook but also includes activities where participants engage in mock lessons through group work. By using the textbook in practice, participants can gain hands-on experience in learning effective teaching methods.

What is "Tsunagu Nihongo"?

"Tsunagu Nihongo" is a Japanese language textbook developed based on a functional syllabus, designed to help learners adapt to real-life Japanese language situations. Unlike traditional Japanese language textbooks, it focuses specifically on cultivating practical communication skills.

Moreover, "Tsunagu Nihongo" prioritizes enabling learners to "achieve" specific goals by setting "Can-do" objectives for each scenario. This approach clearly defines what learners can accomplish, providing effective support for their studies. The textbook adopts the "action-oriented approach," a key principle of CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) and the "JF Standard for Japanese-Language Education," aiming to help learners engage in real-life conversations.

"Tsunagu Nihongo Beginner 1" and "Tsunagu Nihongo Beginner 2" are designed to help learners achieve Japanese proficiency at the A1 and A2 levels, respectively, according to CEFR and the JF Standard.
